These are the more significant fixes and improvements in this version:

  • Full support for the new T-SQL syntax introduced in SQL Server 2019 and SQL Server 2022
  • Fix for an issue in the code formatting, which caused an internal transformer error – ‘se:’ prefix was not defined
  • Fix for an issue in the SA0184 analysis rule, which not reporting comparisons in double brackets
  • Fix for an issue in the identifier resolution, which caused false positives and negatives in the analysis results

  • Support for demo mode allowing limited use without a trial license
  • Fix for a major performance problem

We are pleased to announce the release of the new SQL Enlight edition – SQL Enlight For Build Machines 1.0.0.0.

This edition is meant for continuous integration servers, build agents, or physical and virtual machines that use SQL Enlight to analyze SQL Server databases or T-SQL code, and produce analysis reports.

The Build Machines edition includes command line interface, MSBuild tasks, and Automation API.
